|Challenge: An audit required the organisation to create an asset inventory of all PCs and laptops.
Action: Developed an application to log asset tag numbers and create an inventory database.
Result: The creation of an asset inventory within a multi-national corporation containing 4000 PCs across 50 sites.
|Challenge: Windows 7 end of life meant that the organisation would have to upgrade to keep within support.
Action: To implement deployment Systems for Windows 10.
Result: Created a new easier to manage thin-imaging MDT system for Windows 10 that has improved deployment speed by up to 50%

Synectics Solutions are a leading force in the provision of innovative data driven business solutions. For more than 20 years we have specialised in building complex data management and software products for well-known companies around the world.
Member of the IT Service Desk team, Providing IT support to employees and clients. Responsible to the IT Service Desk Team Leader for operational, incident and change management completing first line Desktop and Server service requests & maintenance whilst maintaining compliance and prioritising work according to Service Level Agreements.
Day-to-day work consists of prioritising tasks including those that are for VIP users or critical systems, maintaining a good level of customer service, event management and asset management. During my time at Synectics I have been involved in the project to implement Windows 10 and most recently the implementation of Microsoft SCCM for Workstations.
|December 2014 – September 2016||PC Support Engineer at SEWS-E Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems (Europe)
Working in the company’s Headquarters- A member of the Systems Infrastructure Team, responsible for day-to-day helpdesk calls. Supporting HQ; senior managers & directors of a €700million business. During my time at SEWS-E I also travelled to 3 sites around Europe.
Responsible to the IT Operations Manager for first line support initially, but I later was given responsibility for additional projects and locations. The job role entails; PC and server administration, weekly and quarterly backups & support of Intranet based applications. (Including minor development.)
During my time at SEWS-E I have been able to travel to Germany and Spain to provide IT support. I have also contributed to the development of the company’s in-house helpdesk application and monitoring systems.
My biggest achievement at SEWS-E is the creation and management of an asset inventory containing all the group’s PCs and laptops.
